I’m sitting here waiting for emails to download, the washing machine to finish, and trying to get my head around what needs to be done today. We got back from a short family holiday last night, after spending a few days at The Estuary down in Port Edward. It was so wonderful! It feels so great to have soaked up the sun with Nick and Rebecca, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy God’s creation. So while I’m slowly making my way back to reality I thought I would post these photos from our holiday – they’re all taken on my iPhone, some with instagram and the black and white ones I just edited quickly.
And I feel even happier knowing I have just a few more pics of my family:) Now to just find some frames and the time to put them on the walls…
We stopped at Butterfly valley – and wandered through the plants watching all the beautiful butterflies – Rebecca loved it!
Then, I think – quick, let me take a lovely photo of my darling daughter and ask her to smile – this is what I get after she tells me, “No mom, I want to point my toes for the photo” – so she’s about to go into her ballet pose with hands on hips and pointed toes and as I’m about to take the photo she starts pulling all these funny faces… I didn’t get one “proper” photo of her smiling normally:)
