I’m not sure how I’m feeling after all the stress and late nights editing, Rebecca being sick, missing my niece’s birthday party and everything else that goes along with both spouses running their own businesses but I do know that God answered my prayers yesterday. It was overcast in Durban when we set off in the morning so at first I prayed for Sun. Then approaching the Midlands there was heavy cloud cover so I then prayed for it not to rain. We drove through some drizzly patches. Then we arrived at the groom’s mom’s Guest House, and before I got out of my car I prayed for God’s guidance throughout the day while I captured this couple’s important day. We had arrived at “Still Waters” in the Natal Midlands.
The name is very fitting, as although everyone was rushing around getting things ready under the watchful eye of the bride’s sister – who did an amazing job as Wedding Co-ordinator, everything seemed “still” and calm. The venue was amazing, the decor stunning, the family loving and supportive and the Bride and Groom – still and calm, taking everything in their stride, together. And to the Bride’s mom – sorry I didn’t sms you when we got home, I was too busy catching up with my husband and watching Rebecca sleep 🙂
I couldn’t wait to share these images with you all.
I now feel still, calm. Taking one day at a time to get on top of things and ever thankful for my own supportive, loving family and my husband and Rebecca. I know God answered my prayers yesterday 🙂
