Kirsty & Gav’s wedding, at Bellwood Cottages in the KZN Midlands, was so longed for by all their friends and family. Their wedding kept Kirsty going through some of the most difficult times of her life, planning everything in advance so she could get through treatment before the wedding. Kirsty has cancer. She is the most remarkable woman I have ever met. Brave, smart, caring, beautiful and so loved by Gavin. I was looking forward to Kirst & Gav’s wedding with great anticipation as Kirsty made me feel like her friend from the moment I met her. I knew it was going to be an extra special wedding.
 
There were tears. Tears of happiness and tears of sadness but most of all tears due to the immense amount of love everyone has for Kirsty. Gavin is one lucky guy as she loves him. He is her husband. Kirsty and Gavin are an amazing couple who despite everything, their love for each other has kept them going. Kept them close and kept them honest, and kept them smiling.
 
Such a beautiful day enjoyed by all and I’m sure those who know Kirsty & Gavin will know that two are better than one. Thank you Kirst & Gav for inviting to share your wedding day with you. It was one I’ll always remember.
