A short drive from Durban and I found myself at the beautiful Hilton Bush Lodge, surrounded by rolling hills and enveloped in peace and tranquility. I could quite easily see why Paula & Luke had chosen to get married here. The Hilton Bush Lodge suited both of their characters and of course living just up the road was also an added bonus.
It was such a calm day, enjoyed by friends and family who had travelled from far to share in the love and support this amazing couple in their commitment to each other. Family had come from Zimbabwe, bringing sentimental clay pots for the table decor. The proteas were from the farm Paula and Luke live on. Everything came together as it should, everything fitting together like Paula and Luke fit together. Complementing each other and loving each other in the way the other needs. These two individuals made me feel so welcome and they accepted me straight away for me, the person I am. We laughed so much when we first met that I new I wanted to spend the day with them and capture all the memories.
Thank you #teamlula for the most incredible day and for trusting me to do my thing, and for appreciating my work. Paula you have the kindest, sincerest heart and Luke, you give the best hugs!
