A few weeks back, at the beginning of the last rainy patch here in Durban, I photographed Tammy & Steven’s Wedding in the KZN Midlands.  Yes, there was beautiful blue sunny skies while driving to the Midlands, and then out of no where we heard thunder at 12:30pm.  Thunder.  Rain. Large rain drops.  But through it all Tammy, a girl who grew up on her parents farm knew that sometimes, most times, these storms rained themselves out.  But unfortunately this was not the case on Tammy’s wedding day.  The rain continued.  The mist rolled in, but still the wet weather conditions did not damper the spirits of this beautiful, calm, bride.  There was a strong, almost tangible feeling of love, sincerity, respect and humility amongst family and friends and most of all between Tammy & Steven.
